unpopular opinion on cosplay:

the only time it’s okay to hate on someone’s cosplay is when you know, or it’s horribly obvious, that they didn’t try.

if someone tried on their cosplay, it’s no right of yours to criticize them.

because you know what, even if it IS a crap cosplay, they’re still proud enough to wear it to a con. they still WORKED ON IT.

it’s still their project that they did.
